Hiya all, I know its been a long time since our last blog (6 months actually, I promise the next one will be alot sooner!). We have had a very, very busy summer lots happening, birthdays, visitors, holidays and genarally lots to do as you can imagine.
Well, as this blog started off for our families, to keep them updated on new our lives out here (i.e. the kids as no one really wants to hear about us lol). It seemed only dutiful to write a blog especially for the most important boy in our lives, Ben, as it was his 3rd birthday don't you know!!!! Thank you to all family and friends near to us and far away for making his bithday so special he treasured every gift and card that was sent to him, you are all very kind and made a little boy very happy indeed!!
We can only hope Ben enjoyed his birthday as much as we did but I think the pictures will tell the story..............

Amazing day at Sesame place kids loved everything from the rides, water rides, live shows and the parades we loved it too!!
Bens bithday morning in the motel he loved opening his pressies and even got to facetime nanny and granda, Jo and Gary!
We traveled on to Philipdhia the that day and spent the rest of the weekend there exporing the city and of course running up and down those famous steps from the Rocky movie, it had to be done!!!
We found a park called the Oval in the middle of the city which was pretty cool, it had loads of free games and activites to do Ben especially loved the mini golf and thought he was an expert and gave us all lessons!
At this point the zoo has to be mentioned, these where Katies birthday gift for Ben and he carried them around in his backpack the whole weekend and got them out at every opportunity. Ha ha it became quite an amusing part of the weekend!

Fresh as a daisy next day, well the zoo and the kids are, me and ross spent our evening drinking our wine out of plastic cups sitting in the bathroom then didn't get much sleep in the tiny double bed and with kids in the same room, how is it even when they're asleep they still manage to make alot of noise!!!!!!
Anyhow tired and exhausted we went to the Reading food terminal that morning for breakfast it was bascially a big indoor food market with the most amazing selection of food, breakfast was scrummy!
Back home that week Ben was still recieving pressies in the post thanks Auntie debs love the t-shirt,elmo set and books!!
Just when we thought the celebrations where over Ben insisted the following weekend he wanted a cake and a birthday party with his friends so a week later still celebrating the wee mans birthday !!! He had a great day with his friends lots of games and party food and bbq and I think the water bombs and water fight was especailly fun for the little people!
