We've had a very busy few weeks, it started with lots of celebrations for Ross's birthday last week. He used to wind me up as I always celebrated my own birthday for at least a week, well, I think we may just have topped it! On Friday, Ross's b'day, we took the kids to see Sesame Street Live in Madison Square Gardens, they loved it! Katie danced and clapped non-stop with Ben a little mesmerised at 1st, but soon followed in Katie's infectious excitement! That evening me and Ross got out for a lovely meal together, yes, just the two of us, thanks to my lovely friend! On Saturday night we had friends over for more celebrations we had great craic and lots of cocktails on the go probably not the best idea as I had to pack the next day for our road trip with a mad hangover, but on the plus didn't forget anything important!

The whole journey Ben kept telling Ross 'be careful daddy don't crash into the bus' , thankfully we got there safely despite Ben's concerns which did actually start to concern us at one point of the journey in case Ben had some powers of seeing into the future lol.

After breakfast we investigated all the surroundings and couldn't get Ben out of the electric cars hence we visited this area quite a few times, I was dying to get in one myself !

We all had the best fun snow tubing especially as the kids could sit on our laps going down the hill, Ben loved the speed and wee Katie was just as happy going down the hill as she was being pulled up the hill!

All in all it was a fab 1st family holiday for us all in the Poconos, lots to do with the kids, beautiful scenery and weather was perfect to do the outdoor activities with sunshine each day. We're very lucky to be able to have spent our very 1st family holiday ever in these beautiful mountains in Pennsylvania and enjoy Ross's extended birthday all week!!
A little mention to some of our family and friends at home as some birthdays have occurred. A big happy birthday to Stu hope you had great day. Happy birthday also to little Robbie who was five recently hope you had a big party to celebrate!
