We must begin with our BIG news Katie is now walking, she is doing great and after only a few days of walking was out toddling around in the snow like it was no problem for her, wee darlin!! She also got about 8 teeth in one month including 2 molars so needless to say she is now making the most of them and eating everything in sight and is insisting on feeding herself even though she hasn't quite managed the full use of utensils yet, I really need to rethink her meals as its getting quite a messy ordeal especially with weetabix :-).
It does feel like its been a long winter but weather hasn't been too bad compared to last year we've been told, so far its been cold but not much snow. However we had 6 inches of snow last night (only the 2nd time this winter it has lay) it was great timing as Central Park had a 'Winter Jam' today where you could ski/snowboard/sleigh all for free it was great fun and no fake snow needed lol! We don't have much to report apart from planning some holidays, its helping us get through the winter and something to look forward to! For Ross's birthday we're going to the Poconos Mountains in Pennsylvania we're hoping we'll get to do some snow activities with the kids and might even get Ben on a pair of skiis.
Of course a special mention must go to the big Birthday boy Henry who turned 6! Sorry we couldnt be there to enjoy your day with you Henry but i heard you had a ball! Happy Birthday from the States!!
