Its official. Working in NY is pretty much like working anywhere.......it sucks. We'd all like to be in a position where we dont have to work but I suppose if you have to heres as good as anywhere. Strange setup in the office here, very matrix'y as Lynsey pointed out. They seem to be against socialising by putting you in a cubicle with brown walls all around, first thinig on agenda is to try to get them taken down so people can look at my ugly bake. If that doesnt get them staring at their monitors working hard nothing will! Not helped with receiving picture messages from my folks in the Harp Bar and Leigh in central park, still needs must.
Went down to 1 World Trade Centre the other day as Leigh detailed previously and it was pretty harrowing. The memorial is beautiful but all the names listed on it is pretty depressing. Cant imagine what it must have been like all those years ago...

Walked on down to the Battery Park and seen the Statue of Liberty (from a distance) and Ben slept through it but Katie saw it and remarked on how tall it was and asked was she naked under there......shes French you know ;-) Hubba hubba!

| That dot in the distance is the Statue of Liberty (or it might be dirt on the lens) |
Came back up via Grand Central Station but it was a quick visit as we had to get home for more important things.....the World Cup Final. As it turned out i got the kickoff time wrong and missed the first half anyway but still at least i seen the end of it.

Leigh has been visiting Madison Park regularly during the days as there endless things to do there. They hold Kids concerts on Tuesdays and Thursdays which are absolutely packed with kids so Ben has been making lots of friends and Katie has been chilling in the sun. We also went down on Wednesday night and their was a Jazz band on. I told Leigh my Dad would hate it as they kept playing wrong notes but thats Jazz baby! We then took Ben to the drained pond section where he ran around while all the adults sitting around laughed at him getting on like an eejit. Also to my surprise while walking through the park the Business owner of the product i work on, Margo, came walking the other way! I always thought that youd never bump into anyone you know in NY as its too big and too many people but there you go! Was nice for Leigh to meet her and she met the kids as well. Maybe she'll understand the hassles i have at home now and go easier on me in work!! Hahahaha.

On that though i think its about time i made a special mention of the amazing woman in my life. How many other people do you know would move away from her Friends and family for an opportunity presented to her husband. She is an amazing woman and im a very lucky man. Hopefully she'll never figure out what a loser i am or im screwed! Love you Leigh lots and lots xxxx
Ill leave you with some random pics
